Application Engineer - Advance Steel/Advance Suite

Graitec Advance Steel is quickly becoming the fastest selling steel modelling and steel detailing system on the market. Advance Concrete is specifically designed for engineers and structural draftsmen, and has the ability to produce all their construction drawings. Easy to use, built on AutoCAD and with links to major engineering and BIM technology the Advance Suite offers greater flexibility, more control and better collaboration in a market demanding better results and performance from their CAD/CAE systems. Graitec are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fulfil the role of Application Engineer to work with and support our existing customers, to support the Graitec sales team in preparing projects to demonstrate the benefits and efficiency gains and advantages of using our technology to prospective customers.

The ideal candidate will have:-

   • Excellent written and verbal communication
   • Great enthusiasm and self motivation
   • Positive attitude and able to work on their own and part of a team
   • Excellent time management skills
   • Over 3 years experience in the Steel Detailing industry
   • Experience in Reinforced Concrete detailing
   • Experience using a modelling system or 3D CAD package (Revit Structures, Tekla, StruCAD)
   • Astute understanding and awareness of clients needs and objectives
   • Able to work to tight deadlines
   • Willingness to travel (Nationally and Internationally)
