Issue 16 for Architectural Tips & Tricks
Welcome to this month's Graitec Architectural ‘Tips and Tricks’ newsletter. We have produced this with you our Clients, in mind. Our aim is to regularly pass on helpful Tips and Tricks on Autodesk Architectural Software products. This Months Tips & Tricks Focus Is On:
Now and again it may be necessary to rename a block. This may be because the drawing already includes a block of the same name. To rename the existing block, use the following steps....
1. Type RENAME on the command line and press ENTER.
2. In the RENAME DIALOGUE BOX, choose blocks from the NAMED OBJECTS list. The ITEMS list will display all of the blocks that are currently in the drawing.
3. Choose the block that you wish to RENAME from the ITEMS list.
4. Type the new name for the block in the RENAME TO box and click OK.
Note: The following AutoCAD entities can also be renamed using this command....
· Dimension Styles
· Multileader Styles
· Table Styles
· Text Styles
