2017 Vault Client Start Up Problems

Having just installed your new 2017 Vault software you may be experiencing a start-up issue. Well to be honest no start up at all. The issue is particular to Windows 10, and is in fact due to language pack installed incorrectly.

To fix the problems, go to - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\CLM\V3\MSVC14\resources\adlm folder. Inside you should find a folder called en-US.

Copy this folder into the same location but now rename it en-GB.

You may need administrator access to do this, if so contact your IT administrator. Start the client and it should start OK.
