Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all create immersive visualisations of our Revit Designs? Give the client an opportunity to experience our designs, to better understand what we have created for them. Wouldn’t it be nice if we did not have to become masters of 3d Visualisation tools like 3ds Max and then have to learn how to move this to a games engine like Autodesk Stingray. Well now you can and in just a few clicks of your mouse.
I would like to introduce you to Autodesk Live. Autodesk Live installs a single button into Revit.
When you run the plugin, it will check to make sure you have no missing materials, that the detail level is set to fine and remove section boxes if required. Then all you need do is click the save and go button.
Your Model will now be uploaded to the cloud and processed into an interactive model.
Once downloaded you can open it in the Live editor and play with the settings, walk around your model watch as the doors open as you approach them, navigate through the 3d views that are brought across from Revit. Change your daytime settings and see the sun set, watch your lighting designs come to life at night. And all this from a few clicks of the mouse. Live now has support for VR headsets for that fully immersive experience.
You can then publish this for use in either the Free viewer which customers can download or an Ipad.
Download a free trail today and transform the way you interact with your Revit projects. Alternatively, find out more and subscribe to Autodesk Live by contacting (023) 8086 8947.
