Autodesk Structural Fabrication Suite 2017
New for 2017 is the Structural Fabrication Suite, comprising of Autodesk Advance Steel 2017, AutoCAD 2017, Autodesk Revit 2017 and Navisworks Simulate 2017. Combining these software’s into a single suite now provide estimators, architects, engineers, steel detailers, and fabricators with a range tools to help integrate the process from initial design right through to workshop fabrication and on site erection.
With the incorporation of Autodesk Revit 2017 within the suite users can now easily use a BIM workflow to transfer the design into Autodesk Advance Steel using Graitec’s own BIM Connect transfer technology. This allows you to better connect the structural design to detailing by allowing you to work more seamlessly within a true BIM environment.
Using Navisworks Simulate users can now use tools to estimate, coordinate and produce 4D simulation to extend the fabrication process to site. Having the ability to share the structural model with contractors, foreman & stakeholders will improve coordination and reduce on-site wastage.
The new suite provides contractors, detailers, estimators and fabricators with a range of tools to generate better quotes, detail more advanced and accurate models, which will ultimately drive better fabrication and onsite structures.
The suite is currently available for via autodesk Desktop Subscription making this a very affordable solution for both short term and long usage requirements.
