  Tip of the month

You may find that when stretching a poly-beam using the AutoCAD grips, the orientation is not being preserved (the beam is being rotated).

If you open the beam properties box you will notice an option called 'preserve continuity', when you select this option it is then possible to shorten or lengthen the beam by using the AutoCAD grips and preserve the orientation.

And the winner is...

Last month Graitec UK conducted a survey on the Cold Rolled components contained in Advance Steel. We had a fantastic response and are pleased to announce that the winner of the prize draw for a MP3 music player is David Finn of Laddingford Engineering, Maidstone, Kent.

Thank you to everyone that took time to complete the survey, we value your feedback which goes a long way to the future development of the Graitec solutions. If you have any other ideas, suggestions or comments for the future development of Advance Steel please feel free to let us know any time.
