Operational changes within Graitec

     

CADS has represented Graitec’s Advance Steel software in the UK and Ireland for many years. However, after lengthy consideration both companies have agreed that Graitec (UK) Ltd is best placed to support the Graitec product range in the future. Therefore CADS' reseller contract will be terminated on 31st December 2009.

   
Future maintenance renewals, technical support, training and software upgrades will be managed and serviced directly by Graitec (UK) Ltd and existing maintenance contract renewal/expiry dates will remain unaffected.

  U2 360° Tour  
     
An exceptional touring stage by customer STAGECO developed using GRAITEC Advance Steel
  At the end of June 2009, the world famous music group U2 started its “360°” worldwide concert tour. The band wanted to get as close as possible to the fans and offer all spectators a 360° view. The challenge to create an extraordinary staging structure, fulfilling these demands, was on! Willie Williams (U2 set designer) and the Mark Fisher studios (architect of the project) went for a four-legged design: the "spaceship-on-four-legs", also nicknamed "the Claw". STAGECO was in charge of designing the structure, using Advance Steel.

Dimension line color can be modified in the prototypes

1. Open the prototype file in Advance Steel. The prototype files path is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Graitec\AdvanceSteel\2010\Shared\Support\
Prototypes

2. Launch the Change dimension style command.

3. In the Dimension Style Manager window click Modify.

4. Select the Lines tab. Several options are available for changing the dimension line colors or other dimension style parameters.

5. Save the prototype. The changes are available only for drawings using the modified prototype. These changes can also be applied to the current drawing using the same command described above.
