	Welcome to the first edition of the Graitec Advance Steel Newsletter. This will be distributed on a monthly basis, keeping you up-to-date with all the latest news.


	Win a MP3 player!

	Take part in our Cold Rolled survey to be in with the chance of winning a MP3 player! We are looking to devote some time to further enhance the Cold Rolled components contained in Advance Steel. In order to ensure our attention is directed to the areas of your highest priority we have compiled a simple 12 question survey which we would be grateful if you would complete by 10^th July 2009. Every survey submitted (one per user) will receive a Graitec mouse mat and pen and will be entered into a draw to win a MP3 player. The winner will be announced in the next Advance Steel Newsletter. 	On Site Services swap-out StruCAD

			On Site Services found Advance Steel to be competitive and cost effective alternative “The overall performance of Advance Steel (which includes everything we need out-of-the-box) exceeds what we had with StruCAD increasing our overall performance. Advance Steel’s ongoing maintenance and support costs also offered significant savings reducing our overall cost of ownership compared with StruCAD”, comments Andrew Titley, Director, On Site Services.

	Due to expansion of the business an additional need developed for direct CAM links with Drill Line equipment to work along side On Site Services plasma cutter which meant further investment in their StruCAD system. This prompted On Site Services to review their CAD CAM systems and processes and Graitec were invited to demonstrate our flagship steel modelling and detailing solution Advance Steel.

	Tip of the month

	To include the grate in the BOM; Open the BOM editor Select the BOM template which appears on the prototype in question Right click and select report contents This will display a box with a selection of tick boxes and there you can select the grating to be displayed in the selection on the drawing BOM.
