We all have our own handy little Inventor tips and tricks, and in this tutorial, I am going to share some of my favourites – I hope these help to get you up and running in the new year.
1 - Sketch on new part creation
To save a step or two when creating a new part, in Inventor select the tools tab, select application options and then select the part tab from the application options dialog box. On the top left side select sketch on x-y plane, select apply and close the dialog box. Now when you create a new part it will automatically go into sketch mode on the x-y plane.
