AutoCAD 2015 Classic Toolbar Missing

AutoCAD 2014 Toolbar

As many of you are upgrading to the latest version AutoCAD (2015) you may have realised that the classic and often favoured toolbars are no longer available from the normal workspace. Instead it has been updated to a new low contrast interface with clearer and easier to see command icons but do not fear if you don't like the new toolbars then there is a way to reinstate the traditional toolbars with ease.

To bring up the classic toolbars, in the command line type:

AutoCAD 2015 toolbar search-TOOLBAR (with the hyphen – otherwise it won't work)
Then type STANDARD and hit ENTER to turn on.

From there, you can right-click on the toolbar that should have appeared and check other toolbars that you want.

For further detailed instructions take a look at the handy PDF we have put together to guide you through the process.
