AutoCAD LT 2014 Becomes Unstable Fix
Some users of AutoCAD LT 2014 running on Windows 7 64 are experiencing an issue in AutoCAD 2014 where the program becomes unstable when more than one drawing is opened.
The issue occurs regardless of graphics hardware or whether a certified driver is installed.
When changing from model space to paper space, panning or zooming AutoCAD becomes unresponsive for 10 seconds or longer and all the icons on the bottom right ribbon start flashing or flickering on and off rapidly. Closing the drawing and reopening fixes the issue but only until other drawings are opened.
For the moment no hot fix has been issued for this problem in AutoCAD LT 2014 but a workaround until it is, is to replace the AecCore.crx file located in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD LT 2014 with this file.
Please ensure you either back up or rename the existing AecCore.crx file
