Not every business user needs a laptop to design high spec CAD drawings or a convertible 2-in-1 tablet and notebook; which is why HP has come up with the elegantly designed EliteBook family for durable, secure and superior performance.
So superior that is has its own 3G network which means that you won't have to go searching around for that public Wi-Fi area. The best of the collection has to be the EliteBook Folio installed with either a i5 or i7 Dual-Core Intel Core Processor which basically in laymen's terms means you will have a superfast laptop.
But this certainly doesn't compromise the battery life of the Folio as there is just over eight hours of productivity in the EliteBook so basically you have the availability of a normal 9-5 shift when you are out of the office. This scores highly compared to other laptops which means that you will be able to keep up with what is going on in your office from wherever you are without the EliteBook powering down.
As for the portability of the Folio it should be heavy due to the screen size by don't worry though as it certainly won't strain your arms as at just ¾ inch thin and 1.50kg it is highly mobile to say the least. This allows you it to feel comfortable when using it, whilst travelling for business or to and from the office each day.
To make it lightweight and powerful you may think that HP would have compromised on the display but with a 14-inch diagonal display you will certainly have a bright and crisp 1920*1080p resolution display and anti-glare so that you can carry out your work and watch films wherever you want without having to put up with horrible screen reflections.
But obviously it isn't all just about the laptop nowadays we have so many other devices that rely on the connections that are laptop has to offer which is why HP has equipped this beauty with LAN port, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 port and HP docking port.
And finally the trackpad or the ForcePad as it's known. It registers various inputs dependent on the degree of pressure you apply to it. It does get a bit of getting used to but once you have you'll realise that it is a breeze to use and you won't to go back to your old touch pad again.
Well... with the EliteBook Folio HP have really outdone themselves this time it is ideal for the average company employee that needs to do frequent work whilst travelling. Although it isn't the cheapest laptop that you will come across it is definitely worth every penny of the £1,231 - 1,493 (ex VAT) that HP have priced it at (dependent on what spec you want).
However HP do have a cheaper model of their EliteBook priced at £618 (ex VAT) which is the EliteBook 8470p Laptop but with the Folio you get so much more.
