Revit 2018.2 New Feature – Filtering by Fabrication Service Type

New and hot off the press is another new feature from the Autodesk Revit 2018.2 update. This feature gives you more control over the visibility and the look of your fabrication content.

Revit view filters have now become even better with the additional option of using Fabrication Services type. This allows you to now add the colours back to the design once it has been converted from design intent to fabrication intent.

Setting up the filter is the same as it has always been, see below:

Once the filter is set up, simply add it to the view and carry out the necessary adjustments. Don’t forget that these settings can be included in a view template.
