Structural Analysis Toolkit for Revit 2018

Please Note: Autodesk has discontinued this feature in favour of Robot Structural Analysis which is available as part of the Autodesk AEC collection. please visit our Robot Training page for more information about training packages, or if you are interested in a standalone solution other than Robot, we also provide our own BIM compliant FEM solution, Advance Design Structural Analysis software.

Analyze in Cloud no longer available

In line with the release of Revit 2018, comes the Structural Analysis Toolkit as one of the best add-ons for Revit. It provides a suite of tools that supports the Building Information Modelling (BIM) process and allows structural engineers and technicians to analyse and check your structure from within the Revit environment.

Structural Analysis Ribbon

Using this toolkit structural designers and engineers can optimize their workflows in the cloud and on the desktop by using the analytical model built in Revit software to conduct cloud-based structural analysis with access to A360 services, and by extending the Revit model to Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis Professional software, or supported third party analysis solutions such as Graitec Advance Design.

The toolkit contains the following items:

• Link with Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis Professional
Using the link, you can send a Revit model to Robot and have direct integration or work with an intermediate file depending on your workflow.

Structural Analysis Intergration

• Autodesk® 360 Structural Analysis for Revit
Using this link, you can perform a cloud-based structural analysis of you Revit analytical model. In the cloud solution, you can perform a static analysis and a gravity analysis and review the results in the Revit project or on the Autodesk® 360 S Analysis Professional Structural Analysis website.

Structural Analysis Website

• Import Results from Graitec Advance Design
Use the Results Manager to review, download, or remove results packages from FEM software, including Graitec Advance Design.
