One of the updates to Revit in the 2017 release was some additional features in text editing. Text in Revit has always been a relatively simple affair, probably due to it being used as a support function to tagging. However, the latest release has seen some nice additions to this command.
These new features are available both when adding your text or editing it.
Along with the usual Bold, Italic and underline, you now have the ability to add super & sub-scripted characters and probably one of the best new features for me is ‘All Caps’, which allows you to capitalize all of your text to help consistency, particularly useful when pasting content into your text box.
For even more additional functionality for your Revit software check out the Graitec Advance PowerPack for Autodesk Revit which features a number of useful productivity tools, such as the excellent 'Link to Excel' feature.
