M Subs Ltd is an organisation that specialises in the design, manufacture and operation of manned and unmanned submersibles for Submarines / Vehicles for defence, research, commercial survey within the military and commercial markets.

MSubs produced the largest unmanned underwater vehicle in the world weighing in at 63 tonnes, 80 feet / 24m long and is used as a submarine tracking target.

Their experienced team possesses skills in mechanical and electrical engineering, composites design and manufacture, electronics and software design, and offshore operations.

Some years back, Dart Sensors started working on a design for a new miniaturised sensor which was conceived to allow entry into new markets. The original design concept was created in a NURBS based surface modeller and problems were encountered when sending data to external contractors and it was not very straightforward to make modifications to correct design flaws in the original concept.
